Wataru Endo: 'I hope this keeps [on] going"
Midfielder Wataru Endo has suggested he is with Liverpool for the long haul and is intent on adding more trophies to the club's collection.
Since arriving from VfB Stuttgart in 2023, the Japan captain has claimed winners' medals in the Premier League and Carabao Cup.
"[When] I came to Liverpool, I really wanted to achieve [the] Premier League title.
I feel like this is why I play football," he told the club's Red Machine podcast.
"I hope this is just the beginning to achieve the titles.
Because after I came here, I won the Carabao Cup [in the] first season and the Premier League [in the] second season.
So, I just want to keep continuing to win titles with the fans.
"It means a lot to me but I still feel like we can achieve something more with the staff and the team and for the fans."
There hasn't really been any doubts about his future during the summer transfer window, but it is nice to hear him say: "I love Liverpool Football Club.
"We won titles every season, so I hope this keeps [on] going and we will share a lot of great moments together."
