Quansah set for his medical today

According to Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg, Jarell Quansah will undergo a medical ahead of a potential transfer to Bayer Leverkusen today.

The report claims that the 22-year-old defender has already agreed personal terms, with a five-year contract 'ready to be signed'.

It's said that the Bundesliga outfit will pay €30m (£25.6m), plus add-ons, for Quansah.



Plettenberg adds that Liverpool have inserted a buy-back clause – worth at least €60m (£51m) – that will be active from the summer of 2027.
