Shearer on Isak to Liverpool

Alan Shearer has insisted there's 'no chance' of Alexander Isak joining Liverpool this summer.

Speaking on the latest episode of the Rest is Football podcast, the former Everton striker commented on Florian Wirtz.

"I think he'll be floating between the two," said Shearer.



"I think you'll have obviously Salah on one side and whoever on the other side, and it'll be him that'll be the 10, the forward or whatever, and they'll just sort of rotate and do what they have to do.

I think that's where he'll play."

Gary Lineker noticed an opportunity to poke fun at Shearer, chipping in: "And Isak as the nine?

Right?"

Flashing his middle finger on both hands, and while grinning away, he replied: "No chance!"
