Adam Wharton links

Liverpool and Real Madrid are both interested in signing the Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton, according to the Spanish outlet AS.

Steve Parish "won't pick up the phone" for an offer of under $93 million (£69 million), the report states (which perhaps begs the question of how he will know what the offer is if he declines the call!).

Wharton, an England international with a huge future ahead of him, is expected to remain at Selhurst Park this season.



However, a move in 2026 is definitely a possibility.

AS says if Rodrygo leaves next week, though, the money could be there for Real Madrid to make a late push for Wharton.
