Hugo Ekitike could be next through the door for Liverpool but he is unlikely to be the final addition of the summer.

The transfer window is certainly heating up, with the Reds considering a few more deals..

They made an approach to their Premier League rivals Newcastle United on Tuesday for Alexander Isak, fresh off the back of the Magpies making a first bid for Hugo Ekitike.

The situation has since developed, with Eintracht Frankfurt having turned down that offer, while Liverpool has since approached the Bundesliga club about Ekitike, with the Reds looking to pounce should Newcastle continue to stand firm on Isak.
