Real Madrid makes new Alexander-Arnold request
Real Madrid has asked Liverpool to release Trent Alexander-Arnold for free before the end of his contract at Anfield so that he can play in this summer's Club World Cup.
That's according to The Telegraph, who also reports that Alexander-Arnold would forego the rest of his Liverpool salary in order to make the move happen.
As things stand, Real would have to pay Liverpool a fee in order to sign Alexander-Arnold in time for the start of the Club World Cup, and reports have previously suggested a small offer was being considered.
Now though, it seems the Spanish giant isn't willing to pay - if that's the case, Liverpool knows exactly what it should do.
