Alexander-Arnold deal done

Liverpool has received a transfer fee from Real Madrid for Trent Alexander-Arnold, with the move going through in time for him to play in the Club World Cup.

It has been confirmed that Real will pay a single payment fee of $11.4 million (€10m/£8.4m) for the defender's services and will also cover his wages for the entire month of June.

That takes the entire transfer fee to $13.5 million (£10 million).

Alexander-Arnold will sign a six-year deal with the La Liga giants.
