Alexander Isak decision made

Newcastle remains firm in its stance that Alexander Isak is NOT for sale, despite the Magpies looking to step up their pursuit of Hugo Ekitike.

According to The Telegraph, Newcastle has rekindled its interest in Ekitike, and has made the striker's representatives aware of its desire to sign him this summer.

The Magpies are said to be hopeful of agreeing a fee with Eintracht Frankfurt, although it is suggested that they will have to pay Ekitike's release clause of around $117 million in order to get a transfer over the line.



The report also claims that Ekitike's signing would NOT mean that Isak would be sold, with Newcastle still intending to offer the Swedish international a new contract.
