Julian Alvarez plan

Liverpool could sell Darwin Nunez to Atletico Madrid at a reduced price if it helps send Julian Alvarez in the opposite direction, according to Anfield Watch.

It's claimed that Nunez could be sold for just $47M, having been the subject of a $93M proposal from Saudi Arabia in January.

That discounted rate though only applies to Atletico.

It's suggested that it is with Alvarez in mind, with Liverpool huge fans of the former Manchester City forward, having tried to sign him last summer.

The Reds are therefore prepared to be flexible with Nunez if it offers favorable terms for Alvarez.
