Klopp gives verdict on Wirtz
Jurgen Klopp has given his verdict on Liverpool's acquisition of Florian Wirtz.
"This is going to be absolutely fantastic, I’m sure of it," the German said in an interview with RTL/ntv on Saturday.
"It’s very hard to strengthen a team when you’re champions.
So, they will like it as well."

Guehi tells friends he wants to join Liverpool - report
Marc Guehi has reportedly told friends that he wants to join Liverpool, as the Reds pursue a fourth major signing in the summer transfer window.
Liverpool has already secured the services of Jeremie Frimpong on Florian Wirtz, while Milos Kerkez is expected to undergo a medical next week.
Football Insider says that Guehi has decided he would rather join Liverpool over the likes of Newcastle and Tottenham — two clubs which are also said to be interested in signing him.

Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano shared the following update about Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez within the last couple of hours:
Darwin Nunez still expected to leave Liverpool with Napoli working on it.
Saudi clubs and more European sides want Darwin but Napoli are in active talks considering the Uruguayan as the ideal top, dream target as striker for Antonio Conte.
Napoli won’t advance/close on different options until they’ve a chance to get Darwin Nunez this summer, and talks are set go continue next week in order to understand if transfer fee and salary can be feasible.

Jarell Quansah talks
Jarell Quansah's move to Bayer Leverkusen looks to be edging closer, with Fabrizio Romano claiming the final details of the deal are now being sorted.
Liverpool is said to be in contact with Leverkusen, with a $40M plus add-ons packed being discussed.
Personal terms shouldn't be an issue, with an agreement said to have already been reached on the player's side.

Six clubs are interested in signing Federico Chiesa this summer, according to journalist Valter De Maggio (via Area Napoli).
Napoli seems to be the one with the strongest links, with the Serie A champion said to be trying to buy him, although Inter and AC Milan are among the other clubs interested.

Robertson agrees to move
Andy Robertson has given his approval for a move to Atletico Madrid, according to Diario AS.
The Spanish club is eyeing up the Liverpool left-back this summer, with Milos Kerkez's arrival at Anfield set to push Robertson down to second-choice.
A deal still needs to be agreed between the two clubs, with Liverpool said to want in the region of $6.7M - the reality is the Reds will probably want more than that for a player who has been a first-team regular for years now.
Andy Robertson has been linked with a move away from Liverpool this summer with Atletico Madrid keen.

Isak 'wants to stay in Champions League'
Alexander Isak wants to play regularly in the Champions League, although he's unlikely to push for a move away from Newcastle.
That's according to journalist Miguel Delaney, who told the Libero Podcast:
He’s enjoying his time at Newcastle, but he’s getting to that point in his career where he doesn’t want to be part of something that’s growing.
He wants to win the biggest trophies now and be in the Champions League absolutely every season.

Hugo Ekitike move 'possible'
Liverpool is more likely to go after Hugo Ekitike than Alexander Isak this summer, Fabrizio Romano has told GiveMeSport.
Both strikers have been linked with moves to Anfield, although Romano claims a move for Isak looks unlikely.
Ekitike though is described as a possibility, but Chelsea has already made some calls for the Eintracht Frankfurt star, while Manchester United has also made contact with his agents.

Liverpool could be facing a problem over the potential signing of Marc Guehi.
According to Sky Sports, any prosepct of the Crystal Palace defender moving to Anfield is "currently at a distance".
It's suggested that, if he is to move this summer, he would want to be assured as a regular first-team starter, while agreeing a fee with Palace will not be simple.

Wrexham eyeing Liverpool star
Wrexham is interested in signing Liverpool left-back Owen Beck on loan, Liverpool.com understands.
Beck, 22, spent this season on loan at Blackburn, where he established himself as the Lancashire club's first-choice left-back before an injury ended his campaign early.
Beck turned out 26 times for Blackburn as Rovers chased a play-off spot but a hamstring injury saw him make just one more appearance after February 4.
After gaining a third straight promotion, Wrexham has earmarked Beck as a possible target ahead of its first season in English football's second tier since 1981-82.

Liverpool has not made any contact with Newcastle to sign Alexander Isak, according to The Telegraph.
The Reds do like Isak, although nothing is said to be imminent, and Newcastle's stance remains unchanged, with a bid 'well in excess' of $202M needed to even start negotiations.
