Liverpool have submitted a club-record breaking bid for Florian Wirtz.
Leverkusen's managing director Simon Rolfes has confirmed that Liverpool have made an approach, though has refused to comment further.
“It’s currently an open subject with Florian,” the Leverkusen executive replied.
I cannot say what my agent said to me but yeah, we will see what will happen.”
Caoimhin Kelleher has dropped a heavy hint that he is preparing to move on from Liverpool this summer.
The goalkeeper has struggled for game-time behind Alisson, but believes he has what it takes to be a Premier League No.1.
“I think I’ve said it before as well that like, I feel like I’m a number one and I feel like I’m good enough to play week in, week out,” said Kelleher.
“That’s what I’m looking to do.
