And Arne Slot and Richard Hughes don't look to be stopping there, with more transfers expected thereafter, with Bournemouth's Milos Kerkez seemingly the most likely next target.

Rafael Leao (AC Milan)

Liverpool has made contact with AC Milan for Rafael Leao, according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato.

Bayern Munich is also said to have held a meeting about signing the Portugal international, while Arsenal has also been linked.

Milan though apparently intends to keep Leao, although it is suggested that an offer of around $148 million would bring it to the table.

Liverpool.com says: That is a lot of money to be throwing at a player that Liverpool doesn't really need, which leads us to believe there isn't much in this one.

Alexander Isak (Newcastle United)

Liverpool would still "love" to sign Alexander Isak, and see him as a "dream" signing as a new striker is sought, according to TBR Football.

The chances of Isak leaving Newcastle this summer are looking slim after the Magpies secured Champions League football for next season, although it is claimed that his contract talks are still being monitored by the Reds.

Liverpool is also said to have discussed Victor Osimhen, Benjamin Sesko and Viktor Gyokeres, as well as Hugo Ekitike, although Chelsea looks to be leading the race for the latter.

Liverpool.com says: It does feel a bit like the speculation around Isak has died off a lot recently, and is desperately trying to be revived by some outlets despite all the signs pointing to him staying at Newcastle.
