Here is the Liverpool.com verdict on the transfer gossip to emerge around the Reds today, including two potential Mohamed Salah replacements, one who plays for Real Madrid and the other at West Ham.

Rodrygo (Real Madrid)

This could be the summer where Liverpool lets go of Mohamed Salah.

It remains to be seen whether Liverpool will refuse another attempt a year on.

Should Salah depart, then a potential replacement could be Real Madrid forward Rodrygo.

Should Liverpool need to replace Salah, the Brazilian should be on the list of potential candidates, although whether he wants to leave Madrid is another matter entirely.

Jarrod Bowen (West Ham)

Another potential Salah replacement could be West Ham's Jarred Bowen

According to Fichajes, Bowen's brilliant season, with 14 league goals in 28 games, has earned Liverpool's interest in the Englishman — Jürgen Klopp has previously described him as his 'favorite player' outside of Liverpool — and a move could be made for the 27-year-old should Salah move on this summer.

Bowen recently signed an extension at West Ham and his new deal doesn't expire until the summer of 2030, meaning Liverpool would have to pay a heavy price to sign him

Yet Liverpool would have a significant amount of cash should Salah be sold to the Middle East, and a move for Bowen can't be ruled out.

Liverpool.com says: It's likely that should Salah leave, Liverpool would want to sign one or perhaps two players to replace the Egyptian

As good as Bowen has been, it's doubtful whether his signing alone would be suffice in satisfying Liverpool supporters if Salah leaves
