The transfer window may only be a couple of days old at this point, but Liverpool certainly doesn't look as though it's hanging around with its business this summer.
Already the Reds have secured their replacement for Trent Alexander-Arnold, with Jeremie Frimpong's signing confirmed last week.
It might not be too long before he's joined by one of his former Bayer Leverkusen teammates.
Work is still ongoing over a deal for Florian Wirtz, with two offers having been rejected so far, although the signs still look promising for Liverpool.
Should it land the German international, we may not have to wait too long for signing number three either.
Here is the Liverpool.com verdict on the transfer gossip to emerge around the Reds today.
Florian Wirtz (Bayer Leverkusen)
According to Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg, Liverpool is “very optimistic” of reaching an agreement with Leverkusen for Wirtz soon.
Unless a player is included in the deal, the Bundesliga side is said to be demanding up to $172 million, which would smash Liverpool’s previous record transfer fee, as well as the Premier League’s.
Plettenberg also claims that the 22-year-old wants to wear the number 10 shirt at Anfield, given it is the number he currently wears at Leverkusen.

Liverpool.com says: It should hopefully just be a matter of when, not if, Wirtz becomes a Liverpool player, and what a signing he would be
Hopefully it's a sign of even bigger things to come in the future.
Milos Kerkez (Bournemouth)
Fabrizio Romano has suggested Liverpool and Bournemouth will work again this week on a deal for Milos Kerkez.
It's already claimed that the left-back has given his approval for a move to Anfield, with a deal between the two clubs all that is needed, although the Reds have been busy with the Wirtz pursuit.
What's more, journalist Rudy Galetti suggested Liverpool was pushing to sign Kerkez 'in the next few hours' on Monday.
Galetti claims that the Reds are aiming to wrap up talks with Bournemouth, and want to finalize the deal very soon in order to avoid a late twist involving Bayern Munich.
Liverpool.com says: Kerkez certainly seems like the next name on the list after Wirtz, or even before if these reports are anything to go by
