Despite the managerial uncertainty, Liverpool continues to be linked with summer transfer additions.
There have also been reports this week that PSG is ready to move for Luis Díaz, who faces an uncertain future at Anfield.
Here is the Liverpool.com verdict on the transfer gossip to emerge around the Reds today, including another rival in the race for a Premier League defender as a Real Madrid teenager is linked.
Tosin Adarabioyo (Fulham)
Liverpool could face competition from West Ham in its reported pursuit of Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo.
The 26-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season and is yet to sign an extension.
Tottenham and AC Milan are both reportedly keeping tabs on Adarabioyo, with Liverpool also said to be interested.
Fulham is still hopeful it can persuade the defender to sign a new deal at Craven Cottage but his head could be turned by move from elsewhere.
Liverpool.com says: Adarabioyo has been in fine form for Fulham this season and Marco Silva will want to keep him but there is no new deal as of yet
Adarabioyo would be a decent addition and cost nothing, freeing up funds to be spelt elsewhere.
Paulo Iago (Real Madrid)
Liverpool could make a move for Real Madrid teenager Paulo Iago at the end of the campaign
Other Premier League and Bundesliga sides are said to be keen, with the teenager having a $14m (£11m/€13m) release clause.
Liverpool.com says: Iago has a very bright future and if he decides it lies away from Real Madrid, then Liverpool should be in the running to snap him up
