With the serious end of the season now on the horizon, Klopp needs as many players back as possible to give the German the best chance of winning a second Premier League title and finishing his time at Liverpool in the best way possible.

With Klopp leaving at the end of the season after nearly nine years at the club, most of the speculation surrounding Liverpool has revolved around finding a new coach, and player recruitment has taken something of a backseat over the last couple of months.

That doesn't mean the rumors stop though.

Liverpool is still being linked to players for next season despite the uncertainty over who the new coach will be.

Here is the Liverpool.com verdict on the transfer gossip to emerge around the Reds today, including a Fulham defender and a Feyenoord left-back expressing his desire to play in England.

According to the Evening Standard, Fulham is preparing a bumper contract extension for Adarabioyo in order to ward off interest from Liverpool, AC Milan and Tottenham.

Liverpool's home shirt for the 2023/2024 campaign pays homage to Bill Shankly and the legendary Reds manager's final season in charge at Anfield.

Adarabioyo has been at Fulham since 2020 after signing from Manchester City.

Liverpool.com says: Liverpool will likely look for a Matip replacement in the summer, and someone like Adarabioyo, who is firmly in that mid-20s bracket with enough experience to step into the side, could be one of the options ahead of next season.

Dávid Hancko (Feyenoord)

Another defender being linked with Liverpool is Slovakia international Dávid Hancko.

The 26-year-old has impressed at the Dutch club since signing from Sparta Prague in the summer of 2022, and his agent told TN.cz back in January that he has been in contact with the Reds.

In a recent interview, Hancko confessed his love for Liverpool, stating that he started supporting the club on the night of the 2005 Champions League final in Istanbul.

If there is a possibility and it is good for us, why not?"

Liverpool.com says: Hancko's versatility could be quite useful should he sign for the club next season, with his ability to play at left-back and in central defense
