Liverpool is persistently being linked to a potential summer transfer swoop for Real Madrid winger Rodrygo as the Reds' attack undergoes a bit of a reshuffle.

This isn't the first instance of Liverpool showing interest, with the player previously opting to sign for Real Madrid over a move to Anfield during his teenage years.

He only started once in the Club World Cup, in the tournament's opening match, and was brought on as a substitute just twice more.

After a brief hiatus, he has now resumed pre-season training with the club.

Marca reports that Saudi teams have shown interest in the Brazilian, but Real Madrid has rebuffed any advances.

Liverpool aren't the only English club rumoured to be interested in Rodrygo this summer, with Arsenal and Tottenham also reportedly keen.

It's suggested that while Real are open to letting the player leave this summer, they're demanding a fee of around €90 million (£77.9M/$105M).
