Liverpool is close to signing a new goalkeeper following the departure of Caoimhin Kelleher — although he will not assume the role of the Reds' back-up goalkeeper next season.
That spot will still go to Giorgi Mamardashvili, who is set to move to Anfield a year on from agreeing to join the Reds, and no doubt has Alisson's No.1 jersey in his sights.
The Reds do, though, appear to be planning for the future, as they move towards an agreement to sign 20-year-old goalkeeper Armin Pecsi from Hungarian club Puskas Akademia.
The youngster is said to be viewed as Hungary's next big goalkeeper prospect after Peter Gulacsi, who coincidentally also joined Liverpool earlier on in his career.

“I don’t think it was very difficult for me to leave [Liverpool]

Liverpool's new No.2 goalkeeper, Mamardashvili, confirmed last month that he will move to Anfield at the end of the season after there were some suggestions that he might spend another season at Valencia.
"I’ll go to Liverpool and give my all, just like I did at Valencia," Mamardashvili said
