Florian Wirtz is finally a Liverpool player.
The Premier League champion shave completed the £100million club-record signing of the Germany star from Bayer Leverkusen.
The Reds will spend a total of £116million on Wirtz if the 22-year-old hits both individual and team targets - which would make it a British record, eclipsing Moises Caicedo's £115m move from Brighton to Chelsea.
Wirtz has signed a five-year contract understood to be worth in the region of £50m.
But the capture of one of Europe’s most highly-rated talents is seen as a significant coup for the club having initially faced competition from Manchester City and Bayern Munich.
Leverkusen had valued Wirtz at £126m but a compromise was reached last week, although the up-front fee easily outstrips the £85m deal Liverpool agreed with Benfica in 2022 for Darwin Nunez.
Wirtz becomes the fourth player to join Liverpool this summer.
The 20-year-old goalkeeper put pen to paper on Saturday and was among the nominees for the2025 Golden Boy award.

And the arrival of Giorgi Mamardashvili is imminent too with Liverpool having agreed a transfer with Valencia almost 12 months ago.
The Georgian's pending arrival gave the club confidence to finally part ways with Caoimhin Kelleher, who joined Brentford in an £18m deal.
