Liverpool have completed the £40million signing of Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez on a five-year contract.

Kerkez, who links up with fellow Hungary international Dominik Szoboszlai at Anfield, is viewed as the long-term successor to Andy Robertson.

Kerkez made 74 appearances for Bournemouth after joining from AZ Alkmaar two years ago and has been shortlisted for the 2024-25 PFA Young Player of the Year award.

Kerkez becomes the fifth player to join Liverpool this summer.

The Reds quickly snapped Jeremie Frimpong to replace Trent Alexander-Arnold before the window was even officially open.

And he was joined last week by his former Leverkusen team-mate Florian Wirtz.

The Georgian's pending arrival gave the club confidence to finally part ways with Caoimhin Kelleher, who joined Brentford in an £18m deal.
