Former Chelsea defender Frank Leboeuf said that three Liverpool players have 'lost their basics' in recent weeks after the Reds toiled to a 2-1 victory over West Ham on Sunday.
Arne Slot's men took the lead through Luis Diaz in the 18th minute, but a disappointing second-half showing looked as though it was going to culminate in the visiting team claiming a point when Andy Robertson turned the ball into his own net with fewer than five minutes of normal time remaining.
Thankfully for Liverpool, though, Virgil van Dijk popped up with a header in front of the Kop in the 89th minute to restore the home team's lead, ensuring the Reds ended the weekend 13 points clear at the top of the table.

With only six games remaining, Liverpool requires just six more points to guarantee the title, but Leboeuf's comments after the West Ham game suggested he believes some players have taken their foot off the gas in the run-in.
"It is going to be very nice for Liverpool to finish the very season very soon," Leboeuf said.
"Robertson was one of the best full-backs in the world, and just before Liverpool conceded there was an action where Bowen goes behind the two centre-backs and he doesn’t follow, these guys have lost their basics, Konate and Van Dijk as well.
“Good for Van Dijk to score because otherwise people would have have things to say about the Robertson own-goal, but I don’t recognize these players, they’ve disappeared, they don’t have the stamina or the guts to finish the game, West Ham deserved more from this game
Even if they (Liverpool) get the three points, it's a disappointment.
"Three weeks ago, everybody thought they could get the quadruple
Some, like me, are saying, 'yeah, they're going to get the Premier League but not the way that they should have deserved to' because no doubt that Liverpool was the best team in Europe, but they're not showing that right now.
"They were the best team in Europe, everybody agreed before Paris Saint-Germain that Liverpool deserved to win the Champions League."
