Conor Bradley admits the Liverpool squad are braced for "massive changes" as he expressed his gratitude to departed Reds manager Jurgen Klopp.

Bradley has enjoyed a breakthrough season at Anfield having made his Premier League debut more than two years after his first Reds outing and ending the campaign with 23 appearances in all competitions while scoring his first senior goal.

The 20-year-old has emerged as a viable alternative to Trent Alexander-Arnold at right-back and will be part of the plans of new head coach Arne Slot.

With the Dutchman among several new arrivals in the coaching staff and the structure at parent company Fenway Sports Group having undergone a radical overhaul, it will be a new-look Liverpool that begins preparations for the new season early next month.

And Bradley said: “I’m looking forward to it.

Obviously there are going to be massive changes within the club.

There will be new ideas and fresh faces and hopefully it will go well and we can get off to a good start.”

The Northern Ireland international was 18 when handed his debut by Klopp in a League Cup tie at Norwich City in September 2021, after which he made a further four appearances that campaign before continuing his development during a season on loan at League One outfit Bolton Wanderers.

“I owe everything to him,” said Bradley of Klopp.

“He gave me my chance at my dream club and the club I have supported since I was young and I’m so grateful for everything he did for me.”

Bradley started the League Cup final win over Chelsea at Wembley in February to claim his first major honour, although Liverpool later fell short in their attempt to claim an unprecedented quadruple when eliminated from the FA Cup and Europa League at the quarter-final stage and finishing third in the Premier League.

“It was probably a disappointing end to the season,” said the right-back to the Belfast Telegraph.

“We wanted more than one cup but it was a brilliant season on a personal note.

It’s been special and onwards to next season.
