Liverpool have unveiled their new third kit with a nod to their Adidas heritage.

The sea green colourway strip takes inspiration from the strips worn by the Premier League champions under their current supplier in both the 1990s and early 2000s.

Adidas’ iconic Trefoil emblem makes its first return to the Reds’ shirts in 35 years alongside the club’s classic crest which was worn between 1987 and 1992.

Available in short-sleeve, long-sleeve and a newly created cropped version, the nape of the neck features the 97 emblem encased by the eternal flames.

The launch follows Liverpool’s record-breaking start to its new 10-year partnership with Adidas with more home and away kits sold in the first month than ever before.

Fans can get their hands on the new third kit from LFC’s official online store, in official LFC stores and the Liverpool FC Store App from Tuesday (September 9)..

The club is offering a 10 per cent discount off the price of the third kit to All Red Members.

Arne Slot’s side will debut their new kit on September 14 at Burnley, while LFC Women will sport it on November 22 at Sheffield United in the League Cup.
