Liverpool have formally unveiled their first summer signing, Jeremie Frimpong, who joined from Bayer Leverkusen for £29.5million.

He will replace the outgoing Trent Alexander-Arnold, though a host of new additions could follow as Arne Slot plans to recruit from a position of strength as Premier League champions.

The Reds may even take their spending close to the £350m mark in total, albeit with plenty of that money recouped through the sales of players such as Darwin Nunez and Caoimhin Kelleher.

Another forward, such as Luis Diaz or Diogo Jota, could also depart.

Here, Express Sport takes a look at the four more signings Liverpool may make this summer for a total of £305m, after getting a deal for Frimpong over the line.

Milos Kerkez - £45m

Both of Jurgen Klopp’s iconic full-backs could be replaced in the same window, with Bournemouth star Milos Kerkez reportedly willing to battle Andy Robertson at Anfield next season.

The Cherries have demanded £45m for Kerkez’s services following a stunning Premier League season and personal terms are not thought to be an issue, having already stated his desire to play for a club competing for major honours.

However, it remains to be seen whether Liverpool are willing to stump up the cash after several big summer outlays.

Florian Wirtz - £126m

Liverpool appear to have won the battle for Florian Wirtz and are now negotiating with Leverkusen once again, having already sealed a deal for Frimpong.

The Bundesliga side value Wirtz in the region of £126m, which would be a new record British transfer, though talks are ongoing to determine the exact fee and terms of payment.

It has not been ruled out that Liverpool players could be sent in the opposite direction in order to lower the fee.

Hugo Ekitike - £84m

With Nunez likely to exit Anfield, having fallen out of favour with Slot, Liverpool are also reportedly shopping for a recognised striker.

Diaz played through the middle for the majority of the season, but his future is not certain amid interest from Barcelona and Saudi Arabia.

Eintracht Frankfurt forward Hugo Ekitike is one of the hottest prospects on the market and available for £84m.

While Virgil van Dijk penned a new contract this year, at 33, the Reds know their captain won’t be at the top forever.

While talks over a new contract for Ibrahima Konate continue, bringing in another centre-back with bags of potential could take place this summer, especially if Jarrell Quansah departs.

The Daily Mail claim that Quansah could leave if a fee of £50m is received.

Sporting defender Ousmane Diomande could be available for the right price and although his stock has fallen since last year, remains a player with bags of potential and could learn from Van Dijk before succeeding the Dutch titan.
