Liverpool legend Dietmar Hamann believes the transfers of Trent Alexander-Arnold and Alexander Isak are incomparable - because the England star "didn't do anything wrong."
Boyhood Liverpool fan and academy graduate Alexander-Arnold left the club after 20 years in the summer on effectively a free transfer to Real Madrid when his contract expired.

Liverpool were able to bring in a £10 million ($13.5 million) fee for his departure, so Madrid could sign him early to compete in the Club World Cup, but the nature of his exit left a sour taste for Reds fans.
New club-record signing Isak has since arrived from Newcastle in a £125 million ($169 million) deal after the forward went on strike at his old club to force through a move to Anfield.
"I don't think you can compare Alexander Isak to Trent Alexander-Arnold because Trent didn't do anything wrong," Hamann told CoinPoker.
If Isak were to go to Newcastle again, I think he'd get a frosty reception."
Alexander Isak forced his way out of Newcastle to seal a move to Liverpool
Though Hamann has overlooked some ill-feeling from sections of the Liverpool fanbase who felt Alexander-Arnold was angling for a move to Madrid long before his contract at Anfield was up.
Madrid made a bid for the 26-year-old in January, midway through Liverpool's pursuit of a 20th Premier League title, which was swiftly rejected by the club.
Former Reds defender Jamie Carragher suggested Madrid would not have made such an offer had they not received encouragement from Alexander-Arnold's camp, and his subsequent performance against Manchester United drew fierce criticism from Liverpool supporters.
Meanwhile Isak appears to have completely burned his bridges with the Newcastle faithful after becoming a hero on Tyneside when he scored in the Carabao Cup final win over Liverpool in March to land the club's first piece of major silverware in 56 years.
Isak is yet to play at all this season after refusing to go on Newcastle's preseason tour of Asia and remaining on strike for the team's opening Premier League games.
Liverpool finally completed a deal to sign him on deadline day and he is set for his debut when he returns from international break, with a trip to Burnley next up on September 14.
