Liverpool returns to action today with a glamor friendly game against AC Milan, two decades on from the sides meeting in Istanbul in arguably the best Champions League final of all time.

Arne Slot's men are continuing their preparations for the new campaign, which is now less than three weeks away.

The game is set to kick off at 12.30pm UK time (7.30pm local time in Hong Kong; 7.30am ET in the US) and will be streamed live via the official club channels.

Liverpool and Bayern Munich have held more talks regarding Luis Diaz, and it remains to be seen whether or not the German side will get anywhere close to the Reds' valuation.

Richard Hughes does not want to lose Diaz, who was a key man for Arne Slot last season.
