The Reds romped their way to the title last season, finishing 10 points clear of perennial bridesmaids Arsenal.
But the Gunners, who have finished second in each of the last three campaigns, have started the 2025-26 positively, scraping their way to a 1-0 victory at Manchester United before blowing away Leeds United 5-0 at the Emirates.
