Liverpool's predicted XI vs Arsenal(Image: EA Sports)
A few months ago, Liverpool against Arsenal was seen as a potential title-deciding game, but fast forward and there's not much on the line when the two sides go head to head later today.
Liverpool fell to a 3-1 defeat to Chelsea in their last outing, but after wrapping up the Premier League title against Tottenham last month, there was little sting for the Reds in the defeat.
Next up for Arne Slot's side is Arsenal, with Liverpool's title rivals earlier this season entering the game on the back of a Champions League exit and three losses in a row.
There's still bragging rights up for grabs later today though, with Liverpool looking to add another three points to their point tally and defeat Arsenal in the Premier League for the first time since 2022.
The last meeting between the two ended in a 2-2 draw, with Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk both getting on the scoresheet for the Reds.

An uneventful first half unfolded at Anfield, with Liverpool dominating possession but doing nothing with it as Arsenal sat deep and defended their box well.
It didn't seem like either side were willing to take risks, but early in the second half, it was the Gunners who went ahead following a comical defensive error.

As Arsenal ventured forward, Declan Rice opted to try his luck with a shot from range, with the midfielder drilling his strike towards the bottom corner from 25 yards out.
Alisson got down well to make a strong save, but the save deflected off Andy Robertson who was sprinting back towards his own goal, with the ball bundling into the net to send the visitors into the lead.
A goal ahead, Mikel Arteta's side sat back into their defensive shape which was worked a treat in the first half, limiting Liverpool to a handful of ambitious shots from outside the box.
