Welcome to Anfield as the 2025-26 campaign gets under way as defending champions Liverpool play host to Bournemouth (8pm kick-off).
The Reds sealed the club's 20th top-flight title last season at a canter, finishing 10 points above runners-up Arsenal.
But the Liverpool powers that be have certainly not rested on their laurels, committing to more than £300m in transfer fees this season, with the latest being the highly-rated young Italian defender Giovanni Leoni.
He has pulled out of the Reds squad for tonight's big opener as he edges closer to a £25m move to this evening's opponents Bournemouth.
The two clubs have already done business this summer with Milos Kerkez making the move from the south coast to Merseyside.
Kerkez, along with the likes of Jeremie Frimpong, Hugo Ekitike and Florian Wirtz, whose switch from Bayern Leverkusen could eventually break the British transfer record, all make their Liverpool debuts tonight.
And it was Ekitike who gave the Reds a 1-0 half-time lead thanks to his second goal in as many games for the club following his razor-sharp strike in the Community Shield.
The striker then set up Cody Gakpo to make it 2-0 before Antoine Semenyo reduced the deficit to 2-1.
The Bournemouth then scored his second to make it 2-2.
But Liverpool went back it front 3-2 thanks to sub Federico Chiesa before Mohamed Salah wrapped it up, 4-2..
