Liverpool host Bournemouth as the 2025-26 Premier League season gets underway.

The Reds will be smarting from last weekend’s Community Shield defeat to Crystal Palace and eager to kickstart their title defence by getting three points on the board at the first time of asking.

To do so, they’ll have to overcome a Bournemouth side that - despite now piecing together a new-look backline - managed to pull off a few upsets against the top teams last season.
