That will happen following the conclusion of the visit of Palace, whose supporters will be in party mode themselves after the historic FA Cup final victory over Manchester City last weekend.

While the Eagles still have the opportunity to finish in the top 10, there is little riding on the match for either team.

But expect Reds head coach Arne Slot to want to sign off for the season in style, especially given his side have failed to win any of their three matches since being crowned champions.

However, they made the worst possible start, with Ismaila Sarr giving Palace a ninth-minute lead.

Liverpool then went down to 10 men after Ryan Gravenberch was sent off.

Instead, what's most important is the cherished chance for Reds supporters to celebrate a title victory in person for the first time since 1990.

There are some big names in the stands, including the returning Jurgen Klopp, whose legacy Slot has built spectacularly on in his debut campaign in charge, while there will also be a farewell to Trent Alexander-Arnold, whose decision to run down his contract before making an expected move to Real Madrid has not got down well with fans.
