Liverpool are still waiting for a fresh approach from Saudi Arabia for Darwin Nunez amid growing speculation over the striker's future.
Reports in the Middle East have claimed Al-Hilal are targeting Nunez and have opened talks with the player and his representatives regarding a move.
But the ECHO understands Liverpool have not yet received an official approach from any team in the Saudi Pro League this summer for the Uruguay international.
The only bid for Nunez so far this summer has been from Napoli, which fell significantly short of the Reds' valuation of the 26-year-old.
Napoli subsequently ended their interest and instead signed Italy international Lorenzo Lucca from Udinese.

Liverpool turned down an offer from Saudi Arabia for Nunez in January given they did not want to break up a squad that at the time was still challenging for honours on four fronts.

The Reds eventually claimed the Premier League title with the forward making 30 appearances in the competition.
Nunez, though, is now expected to leave should a suitable offer be made, with Liverpool head coach Arne Slot and sporting director Richard Hughes overseeing a rebuild of the squad's attacking options.
Luis Diaz has left for Bayern Munich for £65.5 million while Federico Chiesa and teenager Ben Doak are also being touted for departures.

The Reds have brought in striker Hugo Ekitike from Eintracht Frankfurt for an initial £69m while £116m attacking midfielder Florian Wirtz and £29m right-back Jeremie Frimpong, both signed from Bayer Leverkusen, are also capable of featuring in the frontline.
