The summer transfer window is officially CLOSED - well, for a few days anyway.
Liverpool and its rivals will have to pause their business after the window was shut on Tuesday, with no deals able to go through now until it reopens on June 16.
The Reds of course have plenty already in the works, not least the pursuit of Florian Wirtz, which looks to be approaching a conclusion after an agreement was reached with Bayer Leverkusen.
In truth, the window momentarily closing likely won’t stop Liverpool in its tracks, with clubs still able to work on potential deals in the background for the time being.

It seems now that a record transfer has been agreed, with the German international set for a medical on Merseyside soon.
All the talk of a final offer being submitted may, understandably, have left some fans a little on edge, but those worries look to have dispelled now.
It looks like it will just be a matter of time now before Wirtz's move is officially confirmed, whether the transfer window is open or not.
