Liverpool will be facing Crystal Palace in their first competitive fixture of the 2025/26 season after the Eagles won the FA Cup on Saturday.
On Sunday, Liverpool supporters will be treated to a party as the Premier League trophy is lifted at Anfield for the first time with fans in attendance.
While this season draws to a close, the Reds already know who they will be facing first in the 2025/26 season.
Thanks to winning the Premier League, Liverpool have already booked themselves a trip down to Wembley Stadium on either Saturday, August 9 or Sunday, August 10 for the Community Shield.

The traditional season curtain raisers pits the winners of the Premier League against the winners of the previous campaign's FA Cup for the first silverware of the year.
In the case that the Premier League and FA Cup winners are the same team, the club who finished second in the top flight qualify for the Community Shield.
Last weekend it was Palace who booked their spot against Liverpool in the Community Shield after winning their first major trophy.
Eberechi Eze's first half goal won them the trophy against Manchester City and denied Pep Guardiola's side competing in their fifth successive Community Shield match.

The exact date and time for the Community Shield is unclear yet but tradition states that the game takes place a week prior to the top flight season beginning.
The first round of Premier League matches shall be played between Friday, August 15 and Monday, August 18 meaning the Community Shield is played a week prior.
Liverpool's 2025/26 Premier League fixtures will be released on Wednesday, June 18 with the Champions League league phase draw taking place on Thursday, August 28.
