With that in mind, we took a look at the club's next 10 league fixtures and see how they compare to the likes of Manchester United and table-toppers Manchester City, along with Leicester City, Chelsea and Everton.

Liverpool's season lurched to a new low after the 2-0 defeat to Everton at Anfield on Saturday.

Liverpool then host Chelsea in a huge clash at Anfield, with Thomas Tuchel's side looking to claim a Champions League place of their own, before further games against Fulham and Wolves.

Goals from Richarlison and Gylfi Sigurdsson condemned Jurgen Klopp's side to their first loss at Anfield against Everton since 1999, and four successive home defeats for the first time since 1923.

Although Klopp's side sit sixth in the table after the defeat to Everton, they are only five points off fourth.

There is no doubt that the Reds will hope to take maximum points from the majority of those matches - but they must turn their home form around and fast.

And with games coming thick and fast in the next few weeks, the Reds must bounce back immediately, starting with the winnable looking game against struggling Sheffield United at Bramall Lane.
