Liverpool could be set to have a busy few days on the transfer front if one of their first deals of the summer is confirmed.

The transfer window does not open until Sunday, but that is not stopping speculation from swirling about the business that may take place at Anfield.

Trent Alexander-Arnold will officially leave Liverpool next month, with the Reds agreeing a deal worth £10million with Real Madrid.



The right-back's contract expires at the end of June, with Liverpool agreeing a fee that will see Alexander-Arnold move to Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday, the first day of the transfer window, ahead of the Club World Cup.

In terms of incoming business, Liverpool seemingly already have several deals lined up.

Frimpong has a £30million release clause in his Leverkusen contract which Liverpool are expected to activate.

Reports have emerged claiming that the Reds could announce the signing of the right-back on Friday.

Liverpool are also hopeful of agreeing a deal to sign Florian Wirtz from Leverkusen

The Reds opened initial talks with the Bundesliga club last week for the playmaker, who is thought to be valued at around £125million.
