The Reds may have a star-studded team filled with top level talent, but that does not mean they don’t give chances to the younger players coming through.
Granted, players trying to make a name for themselves has become much more difficult due to the standards needed to get a chance, but when they do, it suggests there is a reason why.
Curtis Jones, Conor Bradley and Jarell Quansah are just a few of the recent stars who have been given and then taken their chance, with all three now regulars around the first team squad.
However, there was another player who got their chance and hit the ground running, although he may never play for Liverpool again despite being held in such high regard.

With Liverpool’s pre-season right around the corner, players will be desperate to show Arne Slot what they can do and why they should be given a chance to prove it.
Stefan Bajcetic would have been a player hoping to do just that, but after requiring surgery on a hamstring injury, now faces a race against time to get fit.

Bajcetic picked up the injury towards the end of his loan spell at Las Palmas, where he suffered a relegation from La Liga despite individually impressing.
The Spaniard has already been forced to miss out on the squad for the European Under-21 Championships which begin later this week, giving him even less time to impress Slot ahead of a potentially career-defining few months.
Bajcetic broke into the Liverpool side in the 2022/23 season under Jurgen Klopp and instantly made an impression with his mature performances.
He was strong defensively and composed on the ball, with his ball-carrying ability similar to that of Thiago Alcantara’s at the time, something that impressed Klopp.
“He is a top talent, super player, played really really really good for us so far,” Klopp said in a previous press conference.
“Since being with us, he has been a pure joy to work with, I think the mix of Serbia and Spain is a good one for football.”
The clock is certainly ticking for Bajcetic to save his Liverpool career, but many Reds fans would agree that if he doesn’t manage to get another chance, it would be a real shame given the potential ceiling he has.
