Frank Lampard last night admitted he is uncertain of where Mason Mount's future lies as the midfielder continues to be linked with a move away from Chelsea. admirers of the 24-year-old, who has one year remaining on his current contract, though are expected to face competition from Premier League sides such as Arsenal and Manchester United. Mount is now 'leaning towards' joining United, with talks soon expected between the clubs. Incoming Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino is believed to view the England international as part of his plans, though is depending on a breakthrough in contract negotiations.
And some of them have moved on to other clubs and the club have done well out of that.
"I think with Mason particularly, as an individual, I don't know what the solution is going to be because it's a club and Mason issue," continued Lampard.
It's a shame we've got into a situation where it looks like it's happening maybe now."
