Thomas Frank’s Tottenham squad are in a buoyant mood after their successful start to the Champions League campaign.
Spurs defeated Villarreal 1-0 on Tuesday, 16 September, thanks to goalkeeper Luiz Junior’s fourth-minute own goal.
The North London outfit have won four of their five games across all competitions this season, with Frank increasingly proving that he was the right man to replace former boss Ange Postecoglou.
Meanwhile, former PGMOL chief Keith Hackett exclusively told Football Insider that Micky van de Ven should have been sent off against Villarreal.

Amid a controversial Champions League clash at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Mark Clattenburg thought Xavi Simons should have been given a red card.
Spurs kept 11 players on the field, though, and held on for a 1-0 victory over Marcelino Garcia’s men.
Posting on Instagram on 16 September, Pedro Porro wrote: “An important win in the opening game of our Champions League campaign.

Lucas Bergvall showed his support to Porro by commenting with a love heart eye emoji and a fire emoji.
Even though Postecoglou led Tottenham to Europa League glory last term, he failed to perform in the Premier League, as the North London outfit finished just 17th.

The most concerning factor of Postecoglou’s tenure was that Spurs conceded a whopping 65 goals in the top flight last season.
Contrastingly, Frank’s men have conceded just one goal in the Premier League this term, before maintaining a vital clean sheet in the Champions League.
The former Brentford manager has already added solidity to a Tottenham outfit who are vying for success across all competitions this term.
Meanwhile, Spurs will back themselves to continue performing in the Premier League, as their next four fixtures come against Brighton, Wolves, Leeds United, and Aston Villa.
Frank’s men should also achieve victories over Doncaster Rovers and Bodo/Glimt this month in the Carabao Cup and Champions League, respectively.
Elsewhere, Frank has been backed to improve Bergvall even further in a Tottenham News exclusive.
