Premier League stars were among those to react to Bruno Guimaraes’ message to supporters following his goal with Brazil.
Although Newcastle have endured a difficult start to the season, Guimaraes has maintained his individual form and remains one of Eddie Howe’s most influential players.
Guimaraes was named Newcastle’s Player of the Month for August, after scoring once in three matches and continuing to anchor the midfield.
However, his performances haven’t been enough to lift the team as a whole, as they have managed just two points in three games, with their latest fixture ending in a goalless draw against Leeds.
Now, players are on international duty, and Guimaraes had a message to share after finding the net for Brazil.

Guimaraes started in Brazil’s latest fixture in the World Cup qualifiers against Chile, and the midfielder made an impact as he found the net in a 3-0 win.
The Newcastle midfielder posted on Instagram after the victory, with the caption that read: “HE IS FAITHFUL!
I love you [Brazil]”.

He saw many reactions from the Brazil contingent in the Premier League, with Lucas Paqueta commenting: “Glory to God friend, I love you, you deserve it” and earning likes from Liverpool’s Allison Becker and Man United’s Matheus Cunha.

Other goal scorers also come from the Premier League as Chelsea’s youngster Estevao opened the scoring, with Paqueta scoring Brazil’s second goal, continuing his strong goalscoring form.
Although Brazil have already booked their place at the World Cup, they remain second in the CONMEBOL standings behind Argentina.
For Guimaraes, the goal adds to what has been an increasingly influential role for both club and country, following his most productive season to date with 13 combined goals and assists.
Guimaraes has remained in top form for Newcastle and Brazil.
When Guimaraes makes his return to Tyneside, he will do so under a new club structure, as Newcastle have appointed David Hopkinson as the new Chief Executive Officer.
Plenty of change has already occurred behind the scenes, after Paul Mitchell left Newcastle by mutual consent at the end of June 2025, less than a year after taking his post.
Hopkinson now brings valuable experience from Real Madrid to deliver the next chapter under Howe, with Guimaraes expected to remain a central figure in those plans.
