West Ham players including Lucas Paqueta reacted to Niclas Fullkrug’s latest message to supporters as pre-season preparations continued.

West Ham continued their winning form in the Premier League Summer Series with a 2-0 victory over Bournemouth during their tour of the United States.

Fullkrug found the net for the second game running, opening the scoring in the first half before Jarrod Bowen sealed the result with a goal in the second.

West Ham fans were particularly impressed by new signing Malick El Hadji Diouf, who stood out at left-back with a series of dangerous deliveries, including the assist for Bowen’s goal.

Meanwhile, despite Fullkrug being linked with a move away,  he has been in good form for Graham Potter whilst on pre-season, and has now addressed the supporters after the latest win.

Following West Ham’s 2–0 win over Bournemouth, Fullkrug was in a positive mood as he shared a message to fans and to teammate Paqueta via Instagram.

The striker posted matchday photos alongside the caption: “Another win to wrap up the US tour!

His reaction was one of several, with fellow West Ham players including Crysencio Summerville, Emerson Palmieri and Jean-Clair Todibo all showing their support by liking the post.

Scoring goals was a major issue for the Hammers last season, with Fullkrug struggling for consistent fitness and Michail Antonio sidelined after suffering a car accident.

Football Insider reported that West Ham have concerns over Fullkrug’s long-term availability, especially after the forward missed 28 games last season through injury.

However, his sharp form so far in pre-season could offer hope that he is ready to lead the line more consistently in the coming campaign.

Despite Paqueta’s show of camaraderie with Fullkrug and clear connection with the squad, his future at the club remains uncertain.

Football Insider revealed that Manchester City are preparing a renewed bid for Paqueta, two years after their initial approach fell through.

City are understood to be back in for the playmaker following confirmation that the Brazilian has been cleared of all charges after facing a potential lifetime ban from the FA.

West Ham are now open to a sale for Paqueta, with the East London club believed to be seeking just £30 million for the former Lyon star.
