Lucas Paqueta was in high spirits on social media following the latest development after his recent West Ham performance.
The Brazilian has started the season brightly, scoring twice in his opening three matches for the Hammers.
Despite the constant speculation around his future in the summer window, Paqueta will stay at West Ham.
It has been a difficult 12 months following spot-fixing allegations on the midfielder, but Paqueta was cleared of any wrongdoing after an FA hearing.
The verdict revealed that the FA did not call an expert witness on Paqueta’s case, and reports now suggest that the midfielder is considering suing the FA following the conclusion of his betting case [Sky Sports].
Still, it seems as if the uncertainty around his future hasn’t affected his performances this season, and he has now shared a message on social media.

While there is off-the-pitch speculation continuing to surround the Brazilian, he appeared more positive on social media.
Following his latest performance, Paqueta was named in the WhoScored team of the week alongside the likes of Liverpool hero Dominik Szoboszlai and Chelsea pair Trevoh Chalobah and Enzo Fernandez, and the Irons man reposted a message on his story that read: “It was a great month of August”.

This comes following his performance against Nottingham Forest, where Paqueta and Bowen were standout performers in a 3-0 victory at the City Ground.
For Paqueta, the signs are positive after what was a frustrating campaign last season, when he managed just five goals in all competitions.
Now, form is building again and he looks ready to play a central role under Graham Potter.
Despite West Ham securing the signing of Mateus Fernandes, who many expected to act as Paqueta’s replacement, the two midfielders now look set to line up alongside one another following the close of the transfer window.

Paqueta’s celebration against Nottingham Forest indicated that the midfielder wants to remain at the side amid reports claiming earlier in the day that a move to Aston Villa was advancing.
Football Insider later revealed that Paqueta decided to stay at West Ham despite the club’s plans to accept an offer from Aston Villa.
Unai Emery’s side had emerged as late favourites to sign the Brazil international, but with Paqueta turning down the move, Villa instead turned their attention to Liverpool’s Harvey Elliott, sealing a deadline-day deal for the youngster.
