The price Liverpool will reportedly demand for Luis Diaz has been revealed amid interest from Saudi Pro League giants Al Hilal.

The approaching transfer window could mark a turning point in Liverpool’s recent history, with some of the players who were part of the recent success potentially heading for the exit door.

Trent Alexander-Arnold’s exit has been confirmed, with the defender announcing earlier in the week that he will leave the club at the end of this season.

Although nothing has been made official or announced, Real Madrid are thought to be his destination when his deal at Anfield expires.

Other players who could potentially follow Alexander-Arnold out of the door this summer are Darwin Nunez, Joe Gomez, Kostas Tsimikas, Harvey Elliott, Caoimhin Kelleher, and Luis Diaz.

The Liverpool goalkeeper is almost guaranteed to leave given the imminent arrival of Giorgi Mamardashvili.

Elsewhere, it appears that Nunez’s Liverpool chapter will close this summer,  with Arne Slot reportedly looking to sign an upgrade on the Uruguayan this summer.

The 25-year-old is attracting interest from several clubs, including Atletico Madrid and Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal.

Liverpool rejected an offer from Saudi Arabia for the striker in January, but will be willing to sell this summer.

According to a report by Caught Offside, Saudi giants Al Hilal are reportedly interested in Nunez and his Liverpool teammate, Luis Diaz.

The report claims that the Saudi club are considering the duo as possible additions during the summer transfer window.

The club, who were keen on signing Mohamed Salah before his recent contract extension, have money to spend and could move for the Liverpool duo.

However, it is being reported that while Liverpool will be willing to sanction the sale of Nunez, Slot is unwilling to sell Diaz.

Still, the report claims that the club will be willing to sanction a deal if their valuation of Diaz is met.

“CaughtOffside understands that Arne Slot would rather not sell Diaz, but the club’s stance is that a bid in the region of €80m could also be enough for them to consider a sale,” the report said.

The noise around Diaz and his Liverpool future has been gathering some momentum for some time now?

The Colombian’s current £55,000-per-week deal runs until 2027, meaning that he will soon be within a year of his deal expiring – all while his market value continues to drop with age.

While Liverpool are planing to sit down with the 28-year-old in the summer, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claims that there is a “concrete possibility” that the Colombian winger could leave Liverpool in the upcoming window.

This assessment doesn’t guarantee his departure but indicates that serious considerations are being made about his future at the club.
