Luis Diaz has been able to converse in Spanish with Joshua Kimmich at Bayern Munich, easing fears over his lack of communication at his new club.
The 28-year-old clinched his £65.5million move to the German champions late last month, spelling the end of his three-and-a-half year spell at Liverpool.
Diaz enjoyed the best goal-scoring campaign of his Reds career last season with his 17 strikes in all competitions helping Arne Slot lead his side to the Premier League title.
However, the winger declared his intention to leave Anfield after failing to agree terms over a new contract.
That opened the doors for a move to Bavaria as Bayern struck a deal with their second bid of the negotiation process, leading to Diaz becoming only the third Colombian to ever play for the German giants.
Diaz - who struggled with the language during his time in England - has encountered a new lexicon in Germany and was initially helped by Portugal international Joao Palhinha, who acted as his translator during training sessions, given his ability to speak Spanish.
According to Bild, the pair spent much of Diaz's first day together, with Palhinha's capacity to translate helping the Colombian star settle in.
However, the midfielder's departure to Tottenham Hotspur earlier this week left Diaz without a Spanish-speaking team-mate.

Or so it seemed, at least, given Kimmich learned the language almost a decade ago due to the large number of Spanish and South American players that represented Bayern at the time.
With Kimmich seemingly taking on Palhinha's role in helping Diaz acclimatise to his new environment, the pair were spotted talking and embracing each other in the dressing room.
Having signed for Bayern in 2015 from RB Leipzig, it was 2017 when the midfielder began learning Spanish after being introduced to the idea of bolstering his linguistic skills by his mother.
Speaking to Bild, the then-22-year-old Kimmich said: "Why Spanish?
And since we have a lot of Spaniards on the team, I decided to do it."

It was certainly a wise choice given he shared a dressing room with Thiago, Javi Martinez, James Rodriguez, Rafinha, Juan Bernat and Arturo Vidal at the time.
During Diaz's last two seasons at Liverpool, he was part of a Spanish-speaking contingent that included Darwin Nunez and Alexis Mac Allister.
