Luis Diaz future could be in doubt as Saudi giants Al Nassr are reportedly preparing a major push to sign him in July.

Diaz’s Liverpool contract runs until 2027, but earlier reports suggest the player’s camp is unhappy with the Merseyside club’s effort to extend his deal.

Last week, Barcelona shifted its attention from Luis Diaz.



Diaz was their top target earlier, but Liverpool’s reported £68m valuation caused concern.

Barca were willing to pay closer to £51m, while Nico’s release clause at Athletic Bilbao stands at £58m.

The 28-year-old forward reportedly wanted to join the Spanish side if he decided to leave Anfield this summer.

As things stand, with Barcelona stepping away, Liverpool are likely to keep Diaz for the remaining two years of his contract—even if he eventually leaves on a free in 2027.

According to Ben Jacobs, Al Nassr considers Diaz their top target and is preparing an offer worth around €85m–€100m.

While Liverpool currently wants to keep the Colombian, such a high offer could change their stance.

The Premier League champions are reportedly eyeing Newcastle striker Alexander Isak, and he could cost around £100m.

With that in mind, selling Diaz might indeed be a viable option if the Reds plan to fund another marquee signing this summer, potentially strengthening their squad significantly.
