Luis Diaz might leave Liverpool this summer after winning the Premier League title in 2024/25.

After scoring 17 goals and providing 8 assists for the Reds in all competitions this season, Diaz is reportedly looking for a new challenge next season.

The Colombian was a consistent performer for the Merseyside club.



Under Dutch manager Arne Slot, he played a versatile role — seen both as a left winger and as a centre-forward, depending on the team’s needs.

Exit rumours are heating up after his partner posted a cryptic message on Instagram, saying:

“To the incredible Liverpool fans… Thank you for so much love, for so much dedication and for making us feel at home.”

She also added: “Being a part of this fan base is a privilege… This is a real bond, deep and strong, that reaffirms that we’ll never walk alone.”

These messages strongly indicate that his time at Liverpool might be coming to an end.

Earlier last week, Al-Nassr were reported to be considering Luis Diaz as a top target in the summer transfer window, as per multiple sources.

With rumours spreading about Cristiano Ronaldo possibly leaving the Saudi giants, the club are reportedly ready to pay nearly €85 million for the Colombian international.

Now, according to Sky Sports’ Florian Plettenberg, Barcelona are also considering Diaz as a top target this summer.

Initial talks between the clubs have already taken place.

Barcelona’s new manager, Hansi Flick, highly admires the left winger.

Their sporting director, Deco, is also known to be a big admirer of the Colombian.

Barcelona were searching for a left winger last season.

In the previous summer transfer window, Euro winner Nico Williams, who is also close to Lamine Yamal, was their top target, but the deal didn’t happen.

Raphinha was often used on the left wing in the 2024/25 season, despite it not being his natural position.
