Luis Diaz has reportedly made his decision regarding a potential move to Saudi Arabia following earlier interest from Spanish giants Barcelona.
Barcelona had explored the possibility of signing Diaz to reinforce their attack and approached Liverpool earlier this week.
But Diaz has reportedly ruled out a switch to the Middle East as well, preferring to remain in Europe and continue competing at the highest level.
Saudi Pro League club Al-Nassr have reportedly identified Diaz as a potential replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, whose future with the team remains uncertain.
Luis Diaz is said to prefer a move to Barcelona over the Saudi Pro League.
"I’m very happy at Liverpool," Diaz, 28, is quoted as saying during a press conference while away with Colombia, who drew 0-0 with Peru ahead of facing Argentina next week.
Rather than cash in this summer, the club is believed to be prepared to retain him for the next two seasons and potentially let him leave on a free transfer after the 2026–27 campaign.
