Diaz, whose contract with Liverpool runs until summer 2027, has also been linked with a lucrative move to Spain this summer.
However, Bayern is also considering other options, including Manchester United's Marcus Rashford.
The German giants have already missed out on deals for Jamie Gittens and Nico Williams, with the latter also of interest to Barcelona.

News of Diaz's discussions with Eberl and Bayern comes just weeks after the winger's partner, Gera Ponce, sent social media into meltdown by posting what seemed to be a goodbye message on her Instagram account.
