Luis Diaz is reportedly 'upset' with Liverpool's stance towards his contract renewal or exit from the club.
This claim comes amid plenty of intrigue and updates around a player who has become a firm Anfield favourite over the past three-and-a-half years, culminating in Premier League success.
Liverpool have no intention of selling Diaz, who scored 17 goals and provided eight assists in all competitions in 2024/25, this summer though they are also hold relaxed feelings towards his current contract, as the ECHO previously reported.
The Colombian is tied to a deal until 2027 and club officials were baffled about building speculation over an exit this summer.
However, new claims have emerged over the player's feelings over a potential summer move.

South American reporter Pipe Sierra has claimed the 28-year-old and his entourage are not pleased with Liverpool's current stance.
The report claims Diaz feels the club gave word that they would work towards extending his contract only to now take a relaxed approach towards doing so.
The report says this is not the first time this has happened and therefore 'there is now the possibility of a transfer'.
Anfield chiefs were so intent on keeping hold of Diaz despite his contract approaching its final two years that they rebuffed an approach from La Liga champions Barcelona.
Whilst Barca were unsuccessful in their approach, that has not stopped sporting director Deco from publicly declaring the La Liga club's interest in Liverpool's No.7.

And it has also not prevented Diaz from sitting down in front of the press during June internationals to say: "We are currently in contact with Liverpool, because we are talking to clubs, and that's normal given the transfer market that's opening.
"We're trying to arrange what's best for us.
Now it’s up to them."
Saudi Pro League clubs are also reported to be active in this situation, though any interest has not come to a head in the manner Barca's has.
The Reds have been busy so far this summer securing the signings of Armin Pesci, Jeremie Frimpong, Florian Wirtz and Milos Kerkez.
At present, Diaz is away from Merseyside during the off-season and would be expected to return for the start of pre-season training at Liverpool's AXA Training Centre on Monday, July 7.
