Luis Suarez shared his delight at Liverpool's Premier League title win as he posted a 'love-struck' emoji under the club's recent social media post.

The Reds sealed a second Premier League title in five years last weekend after thrashing Tottenham Hotspur 5-1 at Anfield.

The triumph also marked the first time since 1990 that supporters were present inside Anfield to watch a Liverpool side win the Premier League, with Jurgen Klopp's side being robbed of that opportunity five years ago due to the pandemic.

Suarez, 38, spent three-and-a-half years at Anfield after signing from Ajax in January 2011 and came close to ending Liverpool's 24-year wait for a 19th league title as his 31 goals in the 2013-14 season saw the Reds fall just short of Manchester City.

But despite trading Liverpool for Barcelona at the end of that season, Suarez has remained an avid supporter of the Reds and regularly takes to social media to praise his former side.

On Saturday night, the Inter Miami forward did just that as he commented a 'love-struck' emoji when replying to a post of Liverpool celebrating their status as Premier League champions.

After leaving Anfield in 2014, the Uruguayan spent six years at Barcelona, where he won four LaLiga titles and the Champions League.

But at the end of the 2019-20 season, Suarez was forced out of the club by Ronald Koeman and as a result, joined Atletico Madrid.

Suarez helped Atletico Madrid win LaLiga in 2021, but his spell in the Spanish capital was short-lived as he returned to South America in 2023, firstly with Nacional and later Brazilian side Gremio.

In 2024, Suarez joined former team-mate Lionel Messi at MLS outfit Inter Miami.
